Phantom Blade Zero platforms, editions and prices
The short answer
- Platforms announced: PlayStation 5 and Windows.
- Storefronts named by the publisher: Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Steam, WeGame and TapTap PC. Two of those publish a US price; the rest are listed with their status shown rather than guessed.
- Editions: two — Standard and Digital Deluxe, at $59.99 and $69.99 in the US, the same on PlayStation Store and Steam.
- Disc: not announced.
- Xbox: not announced.
- PC: the official minimum and recommended specifications are published by the publisher and reproduced in full below.
This page changes if: a storefront adds or removes an edition, a price moves, or a platform listing appears. Re-checked 2026-09-17.
The storefront and edition matrix
Status words are used strictly: Confirmed means a first-party page lists it and shows a price; Listed, no price means a first-party page names it but shows no US price; Not announced means no first-party page lists it at all.

Row 5 deserves a word. The Epic Games Store page is linked from the publisher's own site, so the storefront is confirmed to exist as a channel — but when we tried to read that page on 2026-09-17 it returned an error, so we cannot tell you what it charges or which editions it lists. Not published means exactly that. It is not a way of saying the price is zero, or unknown to the publisher, or unchanged from Steam.

The publisher adds a footnote that matters for anyone deciding between the two: the bonus content can also be obtained through in-game progression. In other words the pre-order items are early unlocks rather than exclusive power. The Digital Deluxe extras are cosmetic, audiovisual and a soundtrack — nothing in the edition ladder as published describes a gameplay advantage.
Pre-ordering the Deluxe edition also carries the pre-order bonuses, so the two ladders stack rather than exclude each other.
Pre-order status and bonuses
- Pre-orders opened on 11 August 2026 on the storefronts the publisher names.
- Pre-ordering grants an early unlock accessory, Treasure Basin, which the Steam listing describes as increasing Remnant Dust drop rate by 10%, and an early unlock outfit, Legacy.
- On 12 August 2026 the publisher announced a Fortnite crossover: pre-purchasing Phantom Blade Zero unlocks the Soul Outfit in Fortnite.
- Both bonus items are described by the publisher as obtainable through normal progression, so a reader who misses the window is not locked out of them.
The physical disc question
Nothing has been announced, and the two sides of this question disagree.
What the first-party pages show:
- The publisher's own site links five digital storefronts and no disc SKU.
- The PlayStation Store sells two digital editions and lists no disc product.
- Steam is digital-only by construction and lists no disc edition.
What the retail side shows:
- An import retailer listed a PS5 physical version with a placeholder image, a "coming soon" price state and an Asia-region specification sheet, dated 29 October 2026.
- That same listing has since been withdrawn — it is no longer offered.
- Asked directly, that retailer's support replied that it is still unable to confirm whether Phantom Blade Zero will receive a physical PS5 release, that the title has not yet been officially released, that the listing existed only as a coming-soon entry, and that it did not want to give information that might later change.
- Community discussion of the listing includes the reasonable observation that such placeholders are common and are not confirmation, along with the counter-observation that this particular retailer usually lists only genuine physical products.
So: no first-party channel lists a disc, one retail channel listed one and then pulled it, and that channel's own support says it cannot confirm. We publish both sides and do not adjudicate. Third-party coverage that mentions a physical Collector's Edition is not backed by any first-party listing, and we do not treat it as evidence.
This page changes if: any first-party channel lists a disc SKU, or a retail channel lists one and keeps it. Re-checked 2026-09-17.
The Xbox question
No Xbox version has been announced.
- The publisher's site names Epic Games, PS5, Steam, WeGame and TapTap PC. There is no Xbox entry.
- The PlayStation Store and Steam both list PS5 and Windows only.
- A console-exclusivity window for PS5 has been reported — a community post from roughly nine months before this check date points to a minimum one-year console exclusivity, and it is second-hand, not a publisher statement. We could not find a first-party statement of any window length.
That is why this page says not announced rather than does not exist. The absence of a listing is a fact about listings. It is not a fact about the future, and we are not going to convert one into the other.
This page changes if: S-GAME or Microsoft announces an Xbox version. Re-checked 2026-09-17.

PC: the official requirements
This table is the publisher's own specification as printed on the Steam store page. It is not a compilation from a third-party requirement checker.
| Minimum | Recommended | |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 / 11, 64-bit | Windows 10 / 11, 64-bit |
| CPU | Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | Intel Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X |
| Memory | 16 GB RAM | 16 GB RAM |
| GPU | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6 GB or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8 GB | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB |
| DirectX | Version 12 | Version 12 |
| Storage | SSD installation required | SSD installation required |
| Target | 1080p at 30 FPS with upscaling enabled | 1440p at 60 FPS with upscaling enabled |
Swipe the table sideways to read every column
Read the storage line carefully: the publisher writes SSD installation required on both columns, not "recommended". A hard drive is not a supported target by the publisher's own wording. The two frame-rate targets also both assume upscaling is enabled, which means they are the stated targets rather than native-resolution guarantees.
Other things a buyer should know before paying
- Denuvo. The Steam page states the game incorporates third-party DRM: Denuvo. If you care about that, it is worth knowing before you buy rather than after.
- Controllers. Steam marks the game as having Full Controller Support and the publisher states players can use Xbox controllers and PlayStation controllers, with Steam Input supported. The store also carries the developer's own recommendation to play with a controller.
- Single-player. Steam lists the game as single-player only and the PlayStation Store shows 1 player. No co-op, no PvP and no online mode has been announced.
- Steam Deck. Steam marks compatibility as Unknown — that is "not yet rated", not "unsupported". Those are different things and the store says Unknown.
- Languages. The store page lists 15 supported languages. English and Simplified Chinese are the two with full audio; the remainder are interface and subtitle support.
What this page does not claim
- It does not publish a price for the Epic Games Store, WeGame or TapTap PC. The first could not be read; the other two are China-region listings without a US price.
- It does not claim the physical edition will not happen, and it does not claim it will.
- It does not claim the Xbox version does not exist, and it does not repeat the reported exclusivity window as though it were a publisher statement.
- It does not estimate the Steam price in other currencies or other regions.
- It does not treat third-party requirement compilations as a source. Where a third-party checker agrees with the publisher, the agreement is uninteresting; where it disagrees, the publisher's own page wins.
Where to go next
- When it unlocks, and what the two dates mean: /release-date/.
